Description: 
      MGI Pharma, Inc. is an oncology-focused biopharmaceutical company that acquires, develops and commercializes proprietary products that address the unmet needs of cancer patients. This project involves the creation of SAS data sets using the raw clinical data for analyzing the safety and efficacy reports. The project involved a study of effectiveness of the new treatment for terminal cancer disease .Client provided the CRFs As a SAS Programmer, my role was in analysis of clinical trials data and generating required reports, listings, summaries and graphs tables were generated using BASE SAS Procedures.

 Responsibilities:

  • Involved in phase III clinical trails and responsible for producing analysis datasets to generating reports 
  • Extracted data from an Oracle database created the data sets and analyzed data based on the demographic information.
  • Created tables, listings, graphs and customized reports using various procedures like proc report, proc tabulate, data _null_ and proc Gplot.
  • Extensively used Set, merge, update statements and proc sql for adding new variables or observations, creating subsets of modifying datasets.
  • Developed code using Base SAS, to clean and to validate data.
  • Procedures used: Proc Sql, Proc Report, Proc Tabulate, Proc Freq
  • Generate tables, listings and graphs, including Patient Demography and Characteristics, Adverse Events, Laboratory etc.

Description:  
AXA Bank Growing with its customer’s retail bank. Its share of the Belgian mortgage market increased from 4 percent to more than 12 percent. It offers a large number of services for private individuals and small businesses like, including current accounts, savings and investment products. Main credit products for consumers include an extensive range of loan arrangements, installment credits and credit lines. This project objective is to develop a credit risk rule that can be used to determine if a new applicant is under a good credit risk or a bad credit risk or average risk by using number of explanatory variables of historical data. Essentially developing a function of several variables that allows us to classify a new applicant into one of these three categories- Good, Bad or Average.

Responsibilities:
·         Extracting the data from different raw data files and creating SAS datasets.
·         Performed data extraction, data cleansing, data transformation and manipulation.
·         Managing data by using Base SAS and Macros.
·         Creating user defined formats by using Proc Format and Informants and Sorting
             the data by using Proc Sort.
·         Extensive use of Proc Contents, Proc Means, Proc Freq, Proc Import.

Title: Phase II and III clinical trails,
Client: Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc,               
Role: SAS Programmer,                                                                                                    Duration: March 05 to sept 06.
 Description:
           Achillion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a product-focused pharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of innovative therapeutic agents. The aim of the study is to evaluate the Immunogenicity and Safety of the Study Vaccine in comparison with a commercially available Control Vaccine in healthy infants. Also to determine that the Seroconversion rate of the Study Vaccine is not inferior to that in Control Vaccine and to establish the Safety of Study Vaccine in healthy infants by comparing the proportion of the subjects experiencing local and / or systemic reactions during follow up period and also to calculate the number of serious adverse events occurred during the follow up period. All the tables were generated using BASE SAS Procedures.
